It all started back around 1980 behind the wheel of a plow truck. Gene worked at a Jeep dealership but had a plow business on the side plowing for 30 local business. In 1987 the Storks took a risk and bought their own shop to do auto repair. Plows were never the plan but as the business grew the side business of hustling used plows continued to grow.

Now we are a Full time plow shop we do plows all year round we no longer do Automotive work. At first we only sold a few plows each year as we bought and sold the Jeeps that had them on. However, we noticed that we enjoyed installing and servicing snow plows and began rebuilding used snow plows because of the demand for lower-priced and used plows.

Rebuilding plows also fueled the sales of new plows. At first Storks Automotive was a Meyer/Diamond distributor that also carried Fisher snow plows. Within a few years we became an official distributor for Blizzard, Snoway, and then Western plows.

In 2015 we also took on the SnowEx plows and have started to Carry Curtis cause of the lack of dealers for parts. We have grown every to now having sold over 5000 plows. We have the largest new and used inventory in the country with over 1200 plows in stock. We specialize in the hard to find parts when your local dealer says they don’t have it or they don’t make it email us before you give up. We buy out old dealers and have thousands of discontinued parts on hand.
